The material

We only work with hardwood. Dense, strong and made to last for years, so you replace less.

Wood: Teak. Dense, hard and naturally moisture resistant.
Production: Made by hand. Every piece is unique, so it differs slightly from the photo.
Finish: Beeswax on everything that touches food. A clear, water-based lacquer on the rest.
Origin: In line with FLEGT standards. That is how we secure where the wood comes from.
