Products

What kind of wood do you use for your wooden products?

Everything in the current collection is solid teak: a dense, hard wood that copes well with moisture by nature.

</details>

How sustainable are your products?

To safeguard the sustainability of our wood, we comply with the FLEGT standards. We choose sustainable production processes and eco-friendly finishes. We also always choose hardwood with a longer lifespan, which avoids unnecessary waste.

For more information, please check our articles about illegal logging and sustainability.

</details>

Are your products handmade?

Yes, all our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans. As a result, each item is unique and may vary slightly from the photo.

</details>

Are the wooden products treated against stains and moisture?

Yes. Most products receive a protective layer against moisture and stains. For products that come into contact with food we use beeswax, and on other products usually a clear water-based lacquer. We prefer a protective layer that is as invisible as possible.

That finish stops the wood from absorbing moisture or other liquids. So be gentle when cleaning. The product page always says how to clean the product. Degreasing cleaning products are almost never suitable. Everything about cleaning and touching up is on caring for teak.

</details>

Can I order custom products?

Unfortunately, we do not offer this service right now.

</details>

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship to all countries within the European Union.

</details>

How long does delivery take?

Other EU countries: within 2 to 6 working days.

Orders that come in after 14:00 or at the weekend leave on the next working day. All rates and delivery times are on shipping and returns.

</details>

What are the shipping costs?

Netherlands and Belgium: always free, no minimum order.

Germany €9.95, free from €100. Other countries within the European Union €14.95.

</details>

What if I receive a damaged product?

Contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, and send photos of the damage and the packaging. We will quickly arrange a replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights always apply.

</details>

Service

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days to change your mind from the day you receive your order, without having to give a reason. Register your return with the online return form (no need to log in) or send us an email. You then have another 14 days to send the product back.

The cost of sending it back is yours, unless the product is broken or not right. Everything step by step is on shipping and returns.

</details>

Do you offer a gift wrapping service?

Yes. On the product page or in your bag, tick Gift wrap (2.95 euro). Want to add a personal message? Put it in the order note at checkout.

Please note: sending the gift straight to the recipient? At checkout, tick Ship to a different address and fill in the recipient's address.

</details>

What kind of warranty do you offer?

All our products come with a 2-year Timber Delights warranty, with normal and reasonable use according to the instructions. That warranty comes on top of your statutory rights: a product must do what you can reasonably expect of it. More information is in our terms and conditions.

</details>

When will I get my money back after a cancellation or return?

Within 14 days of registering your return you get the full amount back, including the original shipping costs. We may wait until the product is back with us or until you show that you have sent it. The money goes back via the same payment method and you get an email about it.

</details>

How can I contact customer service?

Via the contact form or by email to info@timberdelights.store. We usually reply within one working day.

</details>

How do I delete my account and personal data?

Send us a message via the contact form from the email address of your account. We delete the account and your data within 30 days. We have to keep order data for 7 years for tax purposes. More in the privacy policy.

</details>
